Asian Mah-jongg
Some describe this fast-paced tile game as similar to the game Gin-rummy. The group would love to teach new players.

Barb's Berets
Many of our BIWC members as well as others in our community have joined together to create fleece berets for women and men who are undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatment. One need not be a seamstress to participate. See Community Service page for more details.
Book Clubs
BIWC offers numerous book clubs and new ones are forming all the time.
Ladies of the Evening
Ladies, married or single, have a girls' night out at local restaurants.
Chicks with Sticks - Knitting Group
Experienced knitters and beginners work on their own projects and explore ways to reach out and support their community through charity knitting.
Second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
Rotating In-Home Dining
A member hosts and prepares the entrée, while guests provide the accompaniments. A great way for spouses and partners to get acquainted. This group welcomes singles and couples.
Each month is a new grouping of hostess and guests.
Golf
The 9-hole ladies group's emphasis is to have fun, "a hit and a giggle" on a beautiful course! New players are always welcome.
Fridays at 10 am at the Meadowmeer Golf Club
Hiking
A comfortable trek through the beautiful Grand Forest and other places on the Island.
Performing Arts Fans

Members enjoy the Metropolitan Opera and other creative events
Keep up on our terrific local performances at the Bainbridge Performing Arts and at Ovation!. We also follow the special film events at the Pavilion Theater in town, such as the Metropolitan Opera and Ballet live performances.
Soil Sisters - Gardening Group
Whether your garden is a pot on your front step or an acre in your backyard, join our group of gardeners! No green thumb required.
No set meeting time, but we do try to arrange an activity each month.
